A busy 2024 at the Institute!

2024 has been a whirlwind of a year for the team at the Institute of Early Years Education. We spent the first half of the year preparing for something really exciting… We launched the Institute in the summer and have been working hard since to constantly develop a membership body that you can be proud to be part of. We’ve been doing our own reflections on the past year and wanted to share some of our milestones.

7^th June 2024

We introduced the Institute at NDNA conference, where Sara presented our exciting new offer to delegates and the team were on hand to answer all your questions!

7^th August 2024

Behind the scenes, the team were working hard to put everything in place for our official launch in August. On 7^th August, digital membership went live.

8^th August 2024

The Institute went live with an array of resources readily available but we’re all about development here, which is why we consistently release resources every week for your own CPD. On 8^th August, we reached a 50 resources milestone!

4^th September

To kick off the new academic year, we hosted our first webinar – one of many that brings fruitful discussion on contemporary issues in Early Education and Care with the click of a button. This webinar was hosted by Sara and Emily, introducing the Institute of Early Years Education and its story of development.

27^th September

The weekend of the 27^th September saw the Institute team visit the Childcare and Education Expo in Coventry. Sarah was on hand to talk all things membership, which a supply of chocolate for attendees!

17^th October

And with all of this going on, we still found time to bring you creative, insightful and evidence-based resources to use throughout your practice. On 17^th October, we published our 100^th resource! This article focused on supporting children in your setting who are part of a service or military family.

29^th November

We also attended the Nursery Management Show, meeting a range of speakers, exhibitors and attendees to talk about the value of effective leadership and management in early years.

16th December

Our resource collections went live, making it even easier for you to find what it is you’re after. You can find all of the collections on our Member resources page.
