BOOST your feedback

Giving feedback is a crucial part of the mentoring process and it’s not only what you say that’s important, but also how you say it. The language that you use when giving feedback can be highly influential in changing people’s behaviour.

Choose your words carefully to ensure positive reactions and outcomes to your feedback.

Try using the ‘BOOST’ model to give positive and constructive feedback.
